CAKES FOR APES 2020 MOVES TO OCTOBER

To our amazing supporters,

 

We wanted to let you know that we have taken the decision to postpone our global ‘Cakes for Apes’ fundraising event which will now take place in October 2020.

 

Cakes for Apes invites our supporters to get together with friends and family in the month of April to host tea parties and cake sales to raise funds for our work rescuing orangutans in West Borneo.

 

However, the safety and good health of our supporters is extremely important to us and, in light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, we do not want anyone putting themselves at risk to take part. For this reason, we have decided that we will postpone the event and instead encourage our supporters to host their events in October.

 

You can still sign up at any time and we will be sure to email you closer to the date to make sure you have your pack and everything you need to make your event a huge success.

 

This is a difficult time for many people, companies and charities. As you know, we rely entirely on public donations and events like Cakes for Apes to raise the vital funds we need for our life-saving projects. We hope you will continue to support us and be ready to make Cakes for Apes 2020 even better than ever before, but just a bit later in the year!
